About Us
Daddy’s Twins Series (DTS) and MadiCai Publishing began in 2012 with our ‘Daddy’s Twins & Our Veggies’ children’s textbook. We wanted to combine fun with interactive learning activities all while illuminating state standard curriculum. Too, with my twin d’authors (yes 😊, daughters + authors) serving as co-authors, we wanted to utilize textbooks with a myriad of characters within the content. When your children ask you, “How come there are no books with black people?”, it can make you operate in a manner of divergence.
So, with much prayer and supplication, we were blessed to be able publish in 3 months. We tell students that each and every one of them are authors and CEOs. Said students may not have published, but they write every day! They may not have an LLC yet, but they operate as a business whether they like it, understand it, realize it or not. Our transparency enables students to become familiar with us which allows for their synapses to fire off all while constructing their neuronal network and ultimately fulfilling various state standards in literacy, numeracy, and STEM.
